Description  

Our 3-inch LED lighted walnut alcove floating shelves create a substantial, built-in look between two walls, inside an inset area, or between cabinets. They’re especially well suited for shelves flanking a fireplace, custom built-ins, and kitchen cabinetry. Integrated lighting adds a warm glow that highlights the space and walnut’s distinctive grain.

Each shelf measures 3 inches thick and features box construction with a solid walnut front face and cabinet-grade real wood veneer on the top and bottom. The LED lighting sits in a recessed aluminum channel with a diffuser for a smooth, continuous glow. Choose lighting that shines down, up, or in both directions. Our standard light color is a warm 3000K.

The ends are left open so the shelf can be trimmed on-site for a precise fit, even when surrounding walls or cabinets are not perfectly square. Shelves ordered with support on both sides include two hidden wooden cleats, one for each end. Longer shelves may also include a back cleat for added support. Once installed, the concealed supports create the appearance of custom, wall-to-wall shelving.

Lighting requirements: An LED driver is required and sold separately. Please review the spec sheet in the Downloads tab to determine the correct voltage and wattage for your shelf, then visit Shop Lighting Accessories to order the appropriate driver and other compatible accessories.

Ordering notes: Select the appropriate length range, then enter the exact length in inches you’d like your shelf cut to, using decimals as needed. We recommend allowing a little extra length for trimming on-site.
