At J Thomas Home, our goal is simple:
- Partner together with our customers to create beautiful pieces of high-quality, solid-wood furniture at comparable prices they can proudly incorporate into their homes and businesses to help them enjoy their spaces a little more.
We understand the importance of seeing stain colors in person and being able to feel the texture of the finish as you run your hand over the top of a table.

Our Story
We started at our house. We moved both cars out of the garage and used every room from the basement to the back deck to build handmade custom furniture and home decor in Olathe. It meant early mornings and late nights, balancing our other full-time jobs. We wore thermals and boots as we stained and shipped in the garage in the winter. Our families pitched in as word spread and demand increased.
We're all in. With our trusted team members behind us, we're revitalizing our own commercial space to continue to craft custom furniture for Kansas City.
